Optimization of microstructure in multi-phase steels containing retained austenite

Objective:

The project investigates multi-phase TRIP steels so that the optimum correlation between microstructure, mechanical properties and manufacturing behavior is achieved. In particular, the mechanical properties variations due to the plasticity-induced transformation are examined in terms of stress and strain-rate.
