Structural Integrity of Offshore Pipelines

Sponsor:

Offshore Technology Research Center (OTRC) - Texas, USA

Partners:

The University of Texas at Austin, USA
Texas A&M University, USA

Objective:

The research aimed at investigating the structural capacity of underwater steel pipelines against buckling. A nonlinear finite element technique is developed (source code) for the nonlinear analysis of pipe segments under bending, pressure and axial load.
